SHRM impacts 115 million employees through the work of its more than 300,000 members. The work we are doing together matters to the profession and to workers globally. 

The DuPage SHRM Chapter (DSHRM) was founded in 1979 and is a local, professional association, serving the greater DuPage and eastern Kane county areas of Illinois, dedicated to professional development and networking for human resource professionals.  Our bi-laws restrict membership to HR practitioners.

Board of Directors
The DuPage SHRM Chapter (DSHRM) board of directors is a group of appointed DSHRM members who jointly oversee the activities of the Chapter.  The board of directors are DSHRM members in good standing.  All of the positions in the board are volunteer positions.  Most of our board members are full-time HR practitioners.  The board meets on the second Thursday of the months of February, April, June, August, October and December.


What does DSHRM do for me?

Bi-Monthly Meetings:  Guest speakers address subjects that cover the scope of human resource issues today.  Most of our meetings are pre-approved by HRCI for recertification credit. We hold six meetings during the year in the months of (January, March, May, July, September, and November).
